A new Cerebral Function Monitor for the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome

The Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Policlinico Umberto I treats newborns affected by severe perinatal conditions, including hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, a condition caused by oxygen deprivation at birth.

The project supports the purchase of a Cerebral Function Monitor (CFM), an essential device used to:

This funding enabled the immediate procurement of the device, avoiding delays that could have compromised patient care.

Part of the contribution also supports the purchase of hygiene kits for newborn patients, responding to everyday care needs within the intensive care unit.

Empowered communities are the architects of their own progress.
