A Better Future for Children

Our Mission

Medialthea empowers every child to grow up healthy, play, learn, express their talents and become an active force in their community.

Based in the Principality of Monaco, our non-profit association is dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children, students, and their families. Through strategic partnerships with deeply rooted community organizations, we empower schools, healthcare facilities, and essential care centers to build a lasting impact.

Our initiatives encompass child protection and well-being, access to quality education and vocational training, and essential healthcare. Since 2021, we have transformed the lives of nearly 4,000 children across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, including Gaza.

Child Support and Protection

Medialthea is a non-profit association based in the Principality of Monaco. It funds projects for children and young people in difficult circumstances, starting with the most vulnerable.

Its support covers child protection and well-being, education and vocational training, and medical and health assistance.

Venerable Enrico Medi

Man of Science and Faith

Medialthea is guided by the enduring legacy, work, and example of Enrico Medi (1911–1974), grandfather of founder Maria Francesca Angelini and father of co-founder Maria Stella Medi.

His human, scientific, and spiritual devotion, alongside his profound dedication to youth, shapes Medialthea’s mission every day. On May 23^rd, 2024, Enrico Medi was declared Venerable by Pope Francis.

The name Medialthea combines Medi’s surname with Althea, a name of Greek origin associated with healing and care.

Medialthea was founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Maria Francesca Angelini and by her mother Maria Stella Medi.

The association can operate anywhere in the world, in any place where children are suffering. It can support private individuals, other associations, and even contribute to large-scale projects.
