A legacy of science, faith and responsibility

Born in Porto Recanati in 1911 and passing away in Rome in 1974, Enrico Medi was a physicist, university professor, member of the Constituent Assembly, parliamentarian, Vice-President of Euratom and one of Italy’s most beloved science communicators.

He is remembered for his ability to bring together scientific knowledge, civic responsibility and Christian faith. His thought remains deeply relevant today, inviting people to look at science not only as discovery, but also as wonder, responsibility and service to humanity.
